A soulful voice combined with a tremendous gift for songwriting, Briz has been the most consistent presence on the East Coast music scene for the past 30 years. Performing at festivals, house concerts, theaters, coffeehouses, cafes, schools, libraries, and more. Influences of Dylan, Springsteen and Neil Young can be heard throughout his songs as he blends both pop sensibility and folk tradition to create lyrics that are uniquely memorable and music that is commercially accessible yet brutally poignant.

The Last Waltz Celebration revisits the music and the magic of that Thanksgiving evening nearly 50 years ago, beginning with The THE BAND Band performing a set of The Band’s most beloved songs, followed by a revolving cast of musicians – some of whom lead their own critically acclaimed tribute bands – performing the songs of those guest stars featured in the original concert. The show culminates with the entire cast filling the stage for the grand finale.
